Lousy fit for iPhone.,
This review is applicable only for iPhone. The product model# is GF7.
This product was able to fit into my 2009 Audi A4 cigarette lighter port. See my other review on another iPhone car mount.
However, it ends up being not a good fit for iPhone. The base is of shallow and fixed depth. Once your iPhone is retrofitted with a skin cover, it is just going to fall off easily. The remote control is a cheap design with a fake LCD screen, which is actually a cardboard-type layer put over some electronic circuitry to sense your key press on the selected buttons.
Overall this product has a flimsy design.

You get what you pay for,
After getting this item and reading the rest of the reviews for it i was kind of worried and mad at myself for not reading them before i purchased it.
The thing is it cost $15.00 not $50. Is it the best design? no. Is the remote hightech with an lcd screen? no (its a silly sticker).
But thats why i paid 15 for it and not 50.
You get what you pay for and for 15 bucks it works.

Well it doesn’t stay in the outlet very well. Small bumps knock it loose. The screen showing the station has gone blank. And the part that holds the iPod doesn’t squeeze tight enough for my nano. Slips out all the time.
